Chicken and Brown Rice Curry: Submitted by: Linda S Orris | Date Added: 8 Sep 2017 Ingredients:


1 1/2 cup water



1 15oz. can stewed tomatoes



1 1/2 cups Brown or white rice, Cooked



1 1/2 cups yellow or brown raisins



1 tea. curry powder



1 chicken bouillon cube



1/2 tea. Cinnamon



1/4 tea. salt



2 cloves garlic, minced



1 bay leaf



1 pound chicken tenders, cut into 1 inch pieces



 



 



 



 



 



 

Cooking Instructions:


Make rice and set aside.



In a large skillet stir together water, tomatoes,raisins,cury, bouillon, ground cinnamon, salt, garlic and bay leaf.



Bring to a boil then turn down to simmer.



Stir in chicken and rice .



Simmer 35 to 40 minutes.
