1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup butter

1tsp vanilla

2tbs cornstarch

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup Crisco

dash of salt

Cooking Instructions:

Mix the cornstarch and milk.  Cook over low heat stirring constantly until thickened.  Set aside to cool.

Cream together butter and granulated sugar with electric mixer beating for 10 minutes.

Combine butter mixture, milk mixture and Crisco.

Add salt and vanilla.

Beat together with fast speed on electric mixer until creamy.

Spread on cooled cake.
