2 C flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 C room-temperature shortening
3/4 C whole milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add shortening and milk and combine thoroughly.
Roll dough out onto a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Use a glass or cookie cutter to cut out biscuits.
Place cut out biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet tray.
Bake for 12 minutes.
