1 cup Milk
1 cup Flour
2 Eggs
1/4 tsp. Salt

Mix salt and flour & add milk gradually, to form smooth paste.
Then add eggs and beat 2 minutes with an egg beater.
Cover bottom of 2 hot bread pans with melted butter or some of the beef fat tried out from roast.
Pour mixture in pan 1/2 inch deep.
Put in hot oven 450° and bake 20 to 30 minutes, decreasing the heat as the baking is accomplished.
Cut in squares for serving.
Bake, if preferred in greased, hissing hot, iron gem pans or tiny cup cake tins.
Delicious with roast beef and gravy.

I googled this to see if anyone heard of this recipe my Grandmother made this recipe and she was from LATROBE!!!!! but she had fruit raisins suet in hers Left by: Kim Urban (31 Dec 2011)
My late father, John R. Charlesworth, Sr., of Latrobe, PA, used to talk about Johnny Bull pudding. I've never had it.
