Jerky for Amateurs

Jerky for Amateurs Ingredients


5 lbs ground venison or beef

3 tsp Mortons Tender Quick

6 tsp salt

2 tsp garlic salt or powder

2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp red pepper

1 tsp marjoram

3 tsp Accent

2 tsp Season All

2 tsp worcestershire sauce

2 tsp liquid smoke


Jerky for Amateurs Cooking Instructions


Mix all above.

Make balls, grapefruit size.

Roll thin between two sheets waxed paper.

Place on cookie sheet.

Brush with liquid smoke.

Cut with pizza cutter before placing in oven.

Place in oven at 100 degrees for two hours, flip, brush with smoke, cook two more hours.

Dry in open air until dry to your taste.

Store in refrigerator.
