Dried Apples Ingredients

10 Apples - any will do

1 Dehydrator

Lemon Juice

Dried Apples Cooking Instructions

Wash apples.

Pour lemon juice in a bowl - lemon juice will keep the apples from turning too brown.

Core your apples with an apple corer.

Slice in round rings.

Skins can be left on.

Put in lemon juice.

Take from the lemon juice and place on your trays.

Before putting your trays in the dehydrator I set each tray on paper towel to catch the excess juice.

It may take a full day for the apples to dry depending on how crisp you want them.

Remember to rotate your trays to dry evenly.

They are great for snacking, for the hunter to munch on in the woods.

They can be broke over oatmeal, cereals or put in fruit salad.

I have also let them dry, added cinnamon sticks and put them on my Christmas tree for the holidays.
