Manhattan Clam Chowder Ingredients

1/4 lb bacon, diced and fried

1 onion, chopped

1-1/2 cup diced carrots

1 cup sliced carrots

1 cup sliced celery

2 to 3 medium potatoes, pared and diced

1 bay leaf

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp salt

1 tsp parsley flakes

1/8 tsp pepper

3-1/2 cup tomatoes

2 to 3 cans clams (7 oz) with liquid

1 cup water

Manhattan Clam Chowder Cooking Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot.

Cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 3 to 5.
