Gone All Day Stew

Gone All Day Stew Ingredients


1 (10-3/4 oz.) can tomato soup

1 cup water or red wine

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 lb. beef cubes, 1 to 2 inches in size

3 med. carrots, 1 inch chunks

6 onions, quartered

4 med. potatoes, 1 inch chunks

1/2 cup celery, 1 inch chunks

12 whole large fresh mushrooms

2 beef bouillon cubes

1 tablespoon Italian herb seasoning mix

1 bay leaf

Pepper to taste


Gone All Day Stew Cooking Instructions


Mix soup, water (or wine) and flour until smooth.

Combine with remaining ingredients in a covered roasting pan.

Bake at 275 degrees for 4 to 5 hours. 



Optional: 1 tsp. each of leaf oregano, thyme and rosemary can be used in place of Italian herb seasoning.
