Stuffing Balls Ingredients

1 20 oz loaf white or wheat bread diced1-1/2 stick margarine or butter3/4 cup celery diced1/2 cup onions diced3/4 cup water1/4 tsp pepper1/2 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp poultry seasoning3/4 cup corn4 eggs

Stuffing Balls Cooking Instructions

Chop bread diced sized and set aside.        In frying pan add only 1 stick of margarine, celery,onions and saute on medium-low heat until celery and onions are translucent.         Then add water,pepper, garlic powder, poultry seasoningand corn.  Cook until it comes to a boil. Meanwhile addeggs into your bread cubes and mix well.  Then pour boiling mixture over the bread mixture.Mix carefully with a big spoon until alittle cooler than you can mix with your hands.         Form into 2-inch size large balls (or smaller for an appetizer.)  Place on greased 13 X 9 pan: melt remaining oleo and spoon over the top of stuffing balls.        Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom depending on stuffing ball size.  Serve as anappetizer with picks or as part of the dinner.  Makes 24 2-inch stuffing balls.Note:  I use the extra sweet corn for extra great flavor.
