3 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into small piece)
1 can peas, (undrained)
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp sugar, optional
1/2 can canned milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil potatoes until tender, add milk, peas and margarine, salt, pepper and sugar.
Bring to just a boil.
Mix cornstarch with just enough water to dissolve.
Add to peas and potatoes stirring constantly until thickened.
Serve with any of your favorite meats.
To make creamed peas omit potatoes.
