Tangy Apple Cabbage Slaw Ingredients

12 Cup Cabbage, Chopped Fine 2 Teaspoon Salt2 Granny Smith Apples, Cored, cut into thin matchsticks2 Scallions, sliced thin 6 Tablesppon Oil1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar 1/2  Cup Sugar1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard 1/4 Cup Red Pepper Flakes 

Tangy Apple Cabbage Slaw Cooking Instructions

Toss cabbage in salt.  Let stand 1 hour.  Rinse under cold water, drain, dry well, transfer to large bowl. Bring oil, vinegar, sugar, mustard and pepper flakes to a boil over medium heat. Pour over cabbage and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
