Layered Valentine Salad

Layered Valentine Salad Ingredients

Bottom Layer:

1 (3-oz.) box Strawberry Jello

Center Layer:

1 (12-oz.) can Crushed Pineapple

1/2 cup Sugar

1 env. Knox Gelatin

1/2 cup Cold Water

1 (8-oz.) pkg. Cream Cheese

1 (8-oz.) ctn. Cool Whip

1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)

Top Layer:

1 (3-oz.) pkg. Strawberry Jello

Layered Valentine Salad Cooking Instructions

Bottom Layer:

Prepare Jello as directed on package, pour into an 8 x 12 inch glass baking dish.

Let set, till firm.

Center Layer:

Heat pineapple and sugar, then add the gelatin that has been dissolved in the 1/2 cup cold water.

Stir in cream cheese till dissolved.

Cool this, then add Cool Whip or whipped cream and nuts if you desire.

Pour on top of first layer and let set till firm.

Top Layer:

Prepare Jello as directed on package.

When cool pour over second layer, let set till firm.


Makes 8-10 servings.
