Holiday Ribbon Salad

Holiday Ribbon Salad Ingredients

Top Layer:

1 small box red Jell-O

Center Layer:

1 can crushed pineapple

1/2 cup sugar

1 envelope gelatin

1/2 cup cold water

1 8 ounce package cream cheese

1 8 ounce Cool Whip

Top Layer:

1 small box red Jell-O


Holiday Ribbon Salad Cooking Instructions

Prepare Jell-O as directed on package.

Pour into 9x13 inch pan.

Let set.

For center layer:

Heat pineapple and sugar, then add the envelope of gelatin that has been dissolved in 1/2 cup of cold water.

Remove from heat and stir in cream cheese.

Cool this and then add the Cool Whip.

Pour on top of first layer and let set.

Top Layer:

Prepare Jell-O as directed on package; pour on center layer when cool.

This is delicious and attractive salad that brightens the holiday table.

Examples - Use yellow and green Jell-O for Easter, red and green for Christmas, red and blue for the Fourth of July, orange and yellow for Halloween and of course red for Valentine's Day!
