Swiss Steak in Foil

Swiss Steak in Foil Ingredients


1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup flour

2 lb round steak, 1" thick

1 large onion sliced


Swiss Steak in Foil Cooking Instructions


Tear off 5 feet of heavy duty aluminum foil, and fold so it's doubled

Combine Ketchup and flour

Spoon half of mixture in center of foil

Place steak on top and season with salt and pepper

Cover meat with onion slices and remaining ketchup mixture

Place in shallow baking pan

Bake at 450 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until meat is tender

Remove goil

Cut steak into pieces



Yields 5 - 6 servings



This is a very simple and easy to prepare meal
