Stuffed Seashells

Stuffed Seashells Ingredients


Meat Filling:

2 onions

4 garlic cloves, minced

olive oil

1-1/2 lbs ground beef

2 eggs

1-1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs

1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, cubed

1-1/2 cups swiss cheese, cubed

1-1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp basil



1 box shells

5 cups tomato sauce

1 cup parmesan cheese, grated


Stuffed Seashells Cooking Instructions


Saute onions and garlic in oil until clear

Mix the rest of the meat ingredients together

Add a little water if mixture is dry

 



Cook box shells for 10-15 minutes in boiling water



Using lasagna pan, put in all the Tomato sauce

Stuff shells with meat mixture and lay in the sauce

Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese



Bake covered with foil for 45 minutes - 1 hour at 350 degrees

Remove foil for the last 15 minutes.
