Slowcooker Hocks and Kraut Ingredients


3 large ham hocks

2 lb bag of saurkraut

Pierogies


Slowcooker Hocks and Kraut Cooking Instructions


Cover the ham hocks with water

Cook on low for 4 - 5 hours

Add the saurkraut and cook another 2 hours or longer

Add pierogies and cook until soft



Before adding saurkraut you may want to pull the meat off the bones and trim off fat.

For a variety Kolbassi or hot dogs may be added or substitute for pierogies and serve on a bun at picnics
