Pigs in the Blanket Casserole Ingredients


1 small head Cabbage, chopped fine

1 lb. Ground Beef

1/2 cup Cooked Rice

1 (10-1/2-oz.) can Tomato Soup

1-1/2 cups Water

1-1/2 cup Onion, chopped

1/4 tsp. Black Pepper

1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated (optional)


Pigs in the Blanket Casserole Cooking Instructions


Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Put in a thick layer of cabbage.

Brown meat and onion in a skillet.

Break apart meat.

Stir in rice, salt and pepper.

Spoon this mixture over cabbage.

Heat soup and water to boiling.

Pour over all ingredients.

Sprinkle some cabbage over top and cheese.

Cover with foil.

Bake 1-1/2 hours at 350°.
