1 large onion, chopped
1 stick butter or margarine
6 large potatoes
1/2 lb Velveeta cheese
6 lasagna noodles

Cook and drain lasagna noodles.
Cook and mash potatoes, adding Velveeta and salt/pepper to taste.
Saute onions in butter until translucent and add 1/2 to potato mixture.
Spread 1/4 of butter and onions in bottom of baking pan; then lay 3 lasagna noodles in pan.
Spread potato mixture on top of noodles, then lay other 3 noodles and top with balance of butter and onions.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
Let rest 5 - 10 minutes before cutting.
6 - 8 Servings.
