1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup (half stick) butter
3 - 4 chopped garlic cloves
1 small can of each:
Drained sliced mushrooms
Black olives
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp Mrs. Dash Table Blend seasoning
1 qt jar/can unseasoned diced tomatoes
1 lb thawed medium to large shrimp
1/2 pt heavy whipping cream
Corn starch or flour
1 cup grated imported Romano cheese
1 lb good pasta

Using a large, heavy non-stick pan, saute garlic in olive oil/butter, mushrooms/olives, red pepper flakes, dried basil and Mrs. Dash in medium/high heat, about 3 minutes.
Add tomatoes with juice.
Bring to a boil, them simmer on low for 10 to 12 minutes.
Add shrimp and whipping cream.
Just bring to a boil, stirring often.
Then add a thickening agent such as corn starch and water or flour and water.
Thicken to your liking.
Turn heat off, add grated cheese and stir again.
Ladle over cooked pasta or rice.
