2 lbs cut-up frying chicken parts
2 cups tomatoes, broken up
1 8oz can plain tomato sauce
1/4 cup dry cooking wine
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp sage
Pepper to taste

Place chicken pieces skin side up in a non-stick roasting pan.
Bake uncovered and unseasoned in a preheated 370 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Drain off fat and discard.
Combine rest of ingredients, and pour over chicken.
Lower heat to 325 degrees and bake uncovered, 20 - 30 minutes more, basting often till chicken is done and sauce is thick.
