Luau Ribs

Luau Ribs Ingredients


5 lbs. Ribs

1 (10-oz.) can Peaches

1 (10-oz.) can Crushed Pineapple

1/3 cup Catsup

1/3 cup Vinegar

2 T. Soy Sauce

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1 clove Garlic, minced

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Pepper



Dipping Sauce:

Leftover Peach Juice

Leftover Pineapple Juice

1/2 cup Catsup

2 tsp. Ginger

1 tsp. Soy Sauce

2 tsp. Hot Sauce


Luau Ribs Cooking Instructions


Drain fruits (save for later for dipping sauce)

Puree in food processor and mix with remaining ingredients (except salt & pepper).

Set aside.



Rub rib's both sides with salt and pepper, broil over slow coals turning frequently, brushing with fruit mixture.

About 30 minutes or until meat is done.



Dipping sauce:

Mix all ingredients together.



My brother-in-law made these while visiting them in North Carolina. They are excellent on a wood fire and gas grill too!
