1 lb. Ground Deer Meat
1 lb. Italian Sausage, hot or sweet
1 Egg
1/4 cup Favorite Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Onions, chopped
1 T. Fresh or Dried Basil
1 T. Fresh of Dried Oregano
2 cloves Garlic, chopped

Combine egg, and spaghetti sauce in a large bowl, stir in bread crumbs, onions, basil, oregano and garlic.
Add deer meat and sausage.
Mix well by hand.
Shape into patties.
Cook as you would a regular hamburger pattie.
Top with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Deer meat is very lean and dry.
Adding sausage to the above ingredients makes for a very juicy hamburger pattie.
I have served this Italian deer burger to a number of people and they have asked me, "Where did you buy these hamburgers?"
There delicious and they cannot believe it when I tell them it is 50% deer meat.
