1 head of cabbage, almost 2 lbs
1 # lean ground beef
1 # ground pork
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 cup long grain rice, partly cooked
1/2 tsp crushed oregano
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp margarine
1 egg
2 tbsp ketchup
1 small can tomato soup, plus water

Boil salted water to cover cabbage.
Cut out core of cabbage.
Place in boiling water about 10 minutes.
Remove from water and separate individual leaves as soon as cabbage is cool enough to handle.
Also trim seam from leaves.
Partly cook rice with a little water, chopped onion, margarine.
Make a stuffing of cooked rice, ground meat, oregano, salt, pepper, egg, and ketchup.
Place stuffing on medium leaves first, then larger ones.
Roll tucking in sides of leaves.
Place hulupki in small roaster or large casserole.
Cover with tomato soup and water to cover hulupki.
There should be almost 2 inches of empty space above hulupki.
Cover and bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour 30 minutes.
