Sauce (Cook Together Until Brown):
1/2 cup bacon grease
3/4 cup flour
Then Add:
1 chopped onion (til brown)
Then Add:
2 lg cans tomato soup
2 cans water
Cook in pan until warm
Meat Mixture:
2 lbs ground beef
2 lbs ground pork
1 lg onion chopped
3 eggs (beaten)
1-1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs
2 cups cooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste

Core and boil 2 medium heads of cabbage.
Once leaves come off head, place in colander to cool.
Place 1-2 tbsp meat mixture into a cabbage leaf.
Fold and tuck ends in.
Pour some of sauce into a roaster.
Place rolled cabbage leaves in sauce.
Place some of sauce over and toninue layering until all ingredients are finished.
Place any small pieces of cabbage that can't be rolled on top of Holupki.
Pour some sauce on top.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
Can make a large batch and freeze extra.
