1 lb of lasagna noodles
1 lb bulk Italian sausage
1/2 lb lean ground beef
52 oz (two 26 oz jars) of your favorite pasta sauce
15 oz ricotta cheese
1 egg
Dash salt
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 lb grated mozzarella

Cook noodles according to package directions.
In separate pan, brown ground beef and Italian sausage.
Add the sauce to the meat and heat through.
Mix the egg and the dash of salt in with the ricotta cheese.
Put one cup of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
Then add a layer of noodles.
On top of the noodles, put 1/3 of the remaining sauce, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese, 1/3 of the parmesan and 1/3 of the mozzarella.
Next, add another layer of noodles and repeat with the sauce and cheeses two more times.
Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes then remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
