1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp black pepper
1/4 tbsp of garlic powder
1 stick of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 to 1-1/2 lbs of chopped steak
1 large whit onion, chopped
1 tbsp of ketchup
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tbsp of dry mustard
1/4 cup water

In a bowl combine the flour, pepper, and garlic powder.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over high heat, add the oil and continue to heat until hot.
Approximately 325 degrees.
Dredge the steak through the flour mixture and place them in the skillet.
Add onions and brown the steaks on both sides, add the ketchup.
Brown sugar, mustard and water.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes.
Remove the lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
