4 medium green peppers
1-1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 individual pack of boiled success rice
1/2 cup diced onion
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
4 8 oz cans Contadina tomato sauce
1/2 tsp baking soda

Half peppers length wise.
Remove seeds and wash peppers.
Lightly mix ground chuck, cooked.
Rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can of the tomato sauce.
Pile meat mixture into pepper halves.
Arrange peppers in large baking dish.
Mix in large bowl remaining 3-1/2 cans tomato sauce and 1/2 tsp baking soda.
Mixture will bubble up slightly.
Pour tomato sauce mixture over peppers.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
