2 cups flour
1 package dry yeast
1 stick margarine
2 egg yolks
1 cup sour cream (commercial)
Walnut filling:
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Put flour in bowl, add dry yeast.
Cut in margarine till crumbly.
Add egg yolks and sour cream.
Mix well, form ball on lightly floured board.
Knead until smooth. (5 to 10 minutes)
Divide dough into 6 balls.
Wrap in wax paper, chill at least 2 hours.
Sprinkle board with flour and then with granulated sugar.
Roll each ball into an 8" circle.
Cut into pie shape wedges.
Put nut filling on each wedge.
Roll each wedge toward the center.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Curve ends to form crescent shape.
Bake at 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately.
Walnut Filling:
Combine ingredients.
Beat 2 egg whites till stiff.
Add to mixture and mix well.
