Twinkie Cake

Twinkie Cake Ingredients


Cake:



1 package yellow cake mix

1 (3-1/2 oz) box vanilla instant pudding

1 cup water

3 eggs

1/3 cup oil

1/2 tsp salt



Filling:



5 tbsp flour

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup Crisco

1/2 cup margarine softened

2 tsp vanilla

 


Twinkie Cake Cooking Instructions


Cake:



Combine cake ingredients.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes till tests done.

Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.

Cool completely cut; cut lengthwise.

Make filling; spread between layers and on top.

Refrigerate.  



Filling:



Combine 5 tbsp flour and 1 cup of water; cook till thick, cool.

Beat till fluffy 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup Crisco, 1/2 cup margarine softened, 2 tsp vanilla and flour mixture.

Beat till sugar dissolves.
