1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs slightly beaten
1-1/2 cup pecan halves
1 unbaked pastry crust (9")

In a large bowl combine syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter and vanilla.
Beat in eggs, add pecans, pour into pie crust.
Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes till set.
Cool on wire rack.
Serve with shipped topping.
Yields 6 servings.
