Filling:
Cup water
1/2 cup butter
Cup flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp almond extract
Cup powdered sugar
Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup butter and 2 tbsp water like pie crust.
Divide dough in half.
Flatten on ungreased cookie sheet in 2 strips, 3 inches by 12 inches.
Add 1/2 cup butter to remaining water.
Bring just to a boil.
Do not boil.
Add flour all at once, stirring until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add almond extract.
Spread on crust strips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar, butter and vanilla.
Drizzle over strips.
