Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Pineapple Upside Down Cake Ingredients


1/3 cup butter, softened 

2/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

2/3 cup water

1-1/2 cup flour

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

4 tbsp butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup drained crushed pineapple


Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cooking Instructions


Cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs, water, flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix.

Melt butter, add brown sugar and crushed pineapple.

Pour pineapple mixture into 9 inch sq. cake pan.

Pour cake batter on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately invert onto serving plate.

Best if served warm.
