Oatmeal Surprise Pie

1 unbaked 9" pie shell

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup corn syrup

3 eggs

1 cup oats

Cream 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar.

Add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp salt.

Stir in 1 cup corn syrup, 3 eggs, and blend well.

Stir in 1 cup oats.

Pour into pie shell and bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Tastes like pecan pie.
