Never Fail Pie Crust Ingredients


4 cup flour

2 tsp salt

1-3/4 cup shortening 

1 egg

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp vinegar

1/2 cup cold water


Never Fail Pie Crust Cooking Instructions


Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening. 

Beat egg; add sugar, vinegar and water.

Add liquid mixture to flour and mix well.

Before using dough, refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Bake pastry at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
