Honey Bun Cake

Honey Bun Cake Ingredients


1 package yellow cake mix

3/4 cup vegetable oil

4 eggs

1/2 lb sour cream

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 cups confectioners sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 tbsp vanilla


Honey Bun Cake Cooking Instructions


Put cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream in a large mixing bowl.

Stir by hand until most large lumps are gone.

Pour 1/2 of the batter in ungreased 9x13 cake pan.

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top of batter.

Pour or spoon rest of batter covering brown sugar mixture.

Twirl cake with knife until it looks like a honey bun.

Bake 325 degrees for 40 minutes till tests done.

Pour icing over top of cake while it is still fairly warm.



To make icing:



Whisk together until smooth; confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla.

Use right away to ice warm cake.



Cake is good served warm or heated in microwave, also is good with a scoop of ice cream.



Yields 24 servings.
