Gobs:
4 cups of sugar
2 cups crisco
4 eggs
2 cups of sour milk (with vinegar)
2 cups boiling water
8 cups flour
4 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup cocoa
Filling for Gobs:
12 tbsp flour
2 cups of milk
4 cups of powdered sugar
2 cups crisco
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp vanilla

Gobs:
Cream together 4 cups of sugar, 2 cups crisco, and 4 eggs.
Add 2 cups of sour milk and 2 cups of boiling water.
Add 8 cups of flour, 4 tsp soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt and 1 cup of cocoa.
Drop by tsp onto ungreased baking pans and bake in oven at 450 degrees for about 6 minutes till lightly browned.
Filling for Gobs:
Combine 12 tbsp flour and 2 cps of milk; cook until thick and cool.
Cream together 4 cups of powdered sugar, 2 cups of Crisco, 1/2 tsp salt, and 4 tsp vanilla.
Add flour and milk mixture to this and cream until light and fluffy.
Then take the baked gobs and ice the middle of one and top with the other.
