1 cup cooked rice
4 tbsp sugar
1 - 3oz pkg raspberry or cherry jello
1 - 1lb crushed pineapple
1/2 pint whipping cream

Make 1 cup cooked rice
Drain pineapple
Use pineapple juice & additional cold water for jello ( make according to package directions)
In a large bowl, add thickened jello, rice and pineapple.
Beat with a whisk for a few minutes.
Add sugar to whipping cream and beat with electric mixer until it thickens
Fold the cream mixture into other ingredients
Store in a covered bowl in refrigerator
Notes: We normally double the recipe and make the jello the day before so it thickens enough.
This is a slovak dessert ade for special occasions.
This recipe was passed down to me by my mother-in-law, Margaret Toth, who is of Slovak descent.
