French Rhubarb Pie

1 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 - 4 cups rhubarb, cut up
1 small apple, cut up
Crumbs for Pie:
1/3 cup butter or oleo
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup of flour

Mix sugar, flour, egg, vanilla, rolled oats and rhubarb together
Slice up an apple and mix everything together
I put a little cinnamon, 1/4 tsp
Place this mixture in a 9 inch pie shell
Crumbs for Pie:
Mix crumb ingredients together with pastry blender until fine crumbs.
Sprinkle on top of pie
Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes
