Date & Nut Cake

2 cup dates
2 tsp soda
2 cup boiling water
1 cup oleo
2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup brazil nuts
3 cup flour
Mix and let cool 2 cup dates, 2 cup boiling water, and 2 tsp soda.
Cream oleo and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add vanilla.
Then add date mixture and flour.
Add brazil nuts, chopped in 1/3rds.
Pour in a greased 9x13 cake pan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
