Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
2-1/4 flour
1-1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1-1/2 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1-1/2 tsp vanilla

Spread pie filling on bottom of 9x13 greased pan.
In a large bowl, stir flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.
In another bowl, combine water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Add liquid to flour mixture.
Stir to moisten.
Pour over pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until done.
