3 cups Sugar
1 cup Shortening
5 Egg Yolks
3 cups Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 cup Buttermilk
5 Eggs, unbeaten
2 tsp. Almond Extract
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Mix together sugar, shortening, and egg yolks for 2 minutes at medium speed.
Add flour, baking soda, buttermilk, unbeaten eggs, almond extract and vanilla extract.
Mix all ingredients until blended.
Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Let cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
Perfect for Strawberry Shortcake.
For Easter or Christmas add 1 cup Tutti Frutti, can be purchased at Conzatti's.
