Banana Split Cake

1 box yellow cake mix

1 can pineapple (drain) diced

1 large box instant vanilla pudding

1 large container Cool Whip

3 large bananas

1 jar cherries

2 tbsp sugar

Boil pineapple with two tbsp of sugar.

Let cool, add to cake batter, follow recipe on cake box and add pineapple to cake mix; bake.

Let cool and spread pudding to top of cake.

Spread Cool Whip and sliced bananas to top of cake, cherries and add as topping.

If desired Hershey's chocolate syrup can be added.

Refrigerate.
