Apple Macaroon

4 medium tart baking apples

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Topping:

2 eggs, well beaten

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted (1 stick)

Pare, core and slice apples and put into a 9 inch pie plate.

Mix and sprinkle the next 3 ingredients over fruit.

Beat just until smooth and pour over apples:

2 eggs well beaten, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, and 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted.

Bake in 300 degree oven for 1-1/4 hours until apples are tender are topping is crisp.
