1-3 oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour sifted
1/16 tsp salt
Filling:
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp butter
1/16 tsp salt
2/3 cup pecans, chopped

Have cheese and butter at room temperature.
Blend and add flour and salt.
Chill for about an hour.
Divide into 4 balls.
Shape each ball into 6 small balls.
Place small balls into sprayed (Pam) tassie pans.
Press dough against bottom and sides of cup to form a shell.
Fill with filling.
Filling:
Combine egg, brown sugar, vanilla, butter and salt.
Beat until blended and smooth.
Fill each tassie cup 3/4 full with mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
Then loosen edges with small knife to remove.
Makes 2 dozen tassies.
