Sour Cream Cookies

1/2 cup butter

1-1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 tsp vanilla

2-3/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

Frosting:

8 tbsp melted butter

2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2-3 tbsp of hot water (start with 1 tbsp and add more if necessary)

Mix butter, sugar and eggs.

Stir in sour cream and vanilla.

Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Chill 1 hour.

Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 10 minutes.

Frosting:

First cookies.

Food coloring can be added to frosting.
