Peanut Brittle

Peanut Brittle Ingredients


1 cup sugar

1/2 karo syrup (light)

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup peanuts

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda 


Peanut Brittle Cooking Instructions


Combine sugar, syrup, water.

Cook until soft ball stage, 235 degrees, stirring constantly.

Add peanuts.

Cook until soft crack stage, 280 degrees, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, add vanilla and soda, mixing well.

Pour onto greased cookie sheet.

Spread thin.

Cool and crack into small pieces.
