2 sticks margarine
1 cup Crisco
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1 tbsp vanilla
6 cups white flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 package dry yeast (do not dissolve)
Walnut Filling:
2 lb shelled walnuts (ground)
2 cup white sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs (beaten)

Combine margarine, Crisco and 1 cup granulated sugar, cream both together.
Add 4 eggs (beaten 2 cup whole milk) and 1 tbsp vanilla; mix well.
Add dry ingredients; white flour, salt, baking powder, and dry yeast.
Mix well.
Divide into 4 sections.
Chill overnight.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut into squares and fill with walnut filling.
Fold two ends over.
Roll in granulated sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes.
