Cream Cheese Pastries

Cream Cheese Pastries Ingredients


2 tubes Crescent Dinner Rolls

3/4 cup Sugar

2 (8-oz.) pkg. Cream Cheese

1 Egg yolk (save white)

3 tsp. Lemon Juice

1 tsp. Vanilla



Topping:

1/4 cup Sugar

1 tsp. Cinnamon


Cream Cheese Pastries Cooking Instructions


Put a little butter melted on bottom of 9 x 13 cookie sheet.

Unroll 1 tube of rolls onto pan (press perforations together).

Mix rest of ingredients sugar, cream cheese, egg yolks, lemon juice & vanilla together and spread over dough.

Unroll other tube of crescent rolls on piece of waxed paper (cut to size of 9 x 13 pan to cover cream cheese mixture).

Put on top of cream cheese mixture and peel off the waxed paper & dispose of.

Brush with slightly beaten egg white.

Sprinkle with topping.

Bake at 350° for 25 minutes until they are golden brown.

Store in refrigerator.
