8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
2 tbsp finely chopped green pepper
1 tbsp minced purple onion
1-1/2 tsp seasoned salt

Combine cream cheese and pineapple in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
Add 3/4 cup pecans, green pepper, onion, and salt; stir well.
Shape cheese mixture into a ball.
Roll in remaining 1/4 cup pecans.
Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
Serve with an assortment of crackers.
Yield: one 4-inch cheese ball.
