Applesauce Nut Bread

Applesauce Nut Bread Ingredients


3/4 cup sugar

1 cup applesuce

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

3 tbsp milk

2 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp nutmeg

3/4 cup pecans, chopped



Topping:



1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/2 tsp cinnamon


Applesauce Nut Bread Cooking Instructions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk.

Mix thoroughly.

Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.

Beat dry ingredients into the applesauce mixture until well combined.

Stir in pecans.

Turn batter into well-oiled 9x5 inch loaf pan.



Topping:



Sprinkle topping on bread batter.

Bake 1 hour.

Cover with foil for last 30 minutes of baking time.
